BAE Systems Vehicle Emergency Escape Window
The Vehicle Emergency Escape Window (VEE Window™) is a critical tool for enhancing the safety of the Warfighter riding in up-armored vehicles in dangerous combat zones where rollovers and accidents are a significant threat.
In use by troops in combat zones today, the VEE Window™ was developed by BAE Systems to allow crews of tactical ground combat vehicles to remove the ballistic windows and quickly exit the vehicle during an emergency.
A three-step process -- pull, rotate and push -- allows the VEE Window™ to be removed in less than five seconds. Crew members exit the vehicle through the window opening after:
- Pulling the locking pins
- Rotating the latch handles
- Pushing the window out
The VEE Window™ – an effective, must-have solution for today’s tactical combat vehicles.
